Summer is still with us on the beautiful North Coast. Birds are singing, fish are jumping and I couldn’t wish to be anywhere else. No matter what your choice in relaxation, it isn’t too far away on the magnificent North Coast.
Whether you are after a quiet spot to fish for a passing Bream, the adrenaline thrill of tandem skydiving or a
trip back in time to visit an historic goldmine, here it is. World Heritage areas and towering rain forests are a quick drive away from bustling city centres that feature ultra modern dining and accommodation opportunities. Local produce is available at the many Farmers Markets that occur regularly up and down the coast and the fresh seafood is the envy of all. Don’t forget to try some of our Bush tucker products to add a vibrant twist to your meals.
We recently enjoyed a trip from Grafton to Glen Innes, travelling through some spectacular scenery along the Mann River and then up through the Gibralter Ranges. Just outside Glenn Innes, we fossicked (successfully) for sapphires, fished the local creeks and caught a big feed of yabbies. The North Coast hinterland and the New England tablelands are a whole world of their own to explore for those who can tear themselves away from the myriad of treats the coast offers.
All along the highways and byways of the spectacular North Coast, you will find exactly the holiday options you are searching for. Keep your copy of the North Coast Imag handy, and prepare yourself for an unforgettable experience in this, Australia’s scenic wonderland.
Keep travelling safely and we look forward to seeing you on your next trip to the NSW North Coast.
