We recently enjoyed a trip from Grafton to Glen Innes, travelling through some spectacular scenery along the Mann River and then up through the Gibralter Ranges. Just outside Glenn Innes, we fossicked (successfully) for sapphires, fished the local creeks and caught a big feed of yabbies. The North Coast hinterland and the New England tablelands are a whole world of their own to explore for those who can tear themselves away from the myriad of treats the coast offers.
